RECTORS FORMATION SEMINAR
1-10 AUGUST 2007 IN HUA HIN THAILAND
SCHEDULE OF ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE:
Arrival Date in Suvarnabhumi (pronounced as suwanaphoom) Airport (Bangkok): 31 July 2007 no later than 5:00 in the afternoon – there will be a bus leaving the Salesian Provincial House at 7:00 pm for Hua Hin which is a two and a half hour drive south of Bangkok. The first activity of the meeting is on 1 August at 7:00 in the morning.
Departure Date from Suvarnabhumi Airport: 10 August 2007 no earlier than 10:00 at night – The last activity of the seminar ends at 5:00 in the afternoon of August 10 and it will similarly take two and half hours to arrive at the airport.
THINGS TO BRING
Personal Things: the Breviary, a Bible and the Salesian Constitutions (all in your own language) – Prayer books for lauds and vespers in English will be provided;
Clothing: tropical wear, swimming trunks - laundry service is available on a daily basis;
Information Technology: Memory stick (no need to bring one’s own laptop unless one so decides; the facility is WI-FI enabled) – there are four computers available for common use and an LCD projector
THINGS TO PREPARE: (in agreement with the other participants of your Province)
Photo Exhibit regarding one’s Province (bulletin board size: 4 feet by 8 feet)
Designated Evening session (this consists of two parts):
a) a 15-minute prayer service of your choice (the Vespers or some other form of evening prayer like Taize Prayer)
b) a 25-minute presentation of a significant work or event of your Province in the last five years (2002-2007: referring to the emphasis made by GC 25 on the Salesian Community).
