EAO Seminar on Salesian Brother Vocation Promotion and CARE
Cambodia, Aug 21-25, 2006
Suggestions for the EAO region re Regional Gathering
AUL
The highlight of the seminar has been that the participants met and talked with a large number of Salesians from the Region and shared their experiences.
These meetings are clearly valuable for the participants and the wider region.
However, financial and other considerations would indicate that perhaps every five years would be a reasonable time-frame.
CIN
Every three year a closed number Congress, every six years a Congress open to all Brothers.
FIN
Regional gathering (e.g. every four years, etc.) The frequency of the regional gatherings should be determined by the purpose or type of meeting. Before talking about the frequency of the gathering, let the persons concerned be clear about the objectives and the nature of the gathering, and who are the participants expected for the meeting.
