Melbourne, Australia, 8 October 2017 -- Dear Salesians and Salesian Family Members, I write to inform you that our dear friend and confrere, BR CAHILL GLEISNER, returned to his Heavenly Father at 12.30am yesterday morning, Saturday 7 October 2017, at the Goonawarra Aged Care facility in Sunbury, Victoria, after a short but painful illness.

Br Cahill was 87 years of age and had been a professed Salesian for 66 years.

Let us pray for Cahill’s everlasting repose and happiness, as well as for the consolation of his family members, friends and associates, and Salesian confreres, especially those belonging to his own community at Sunbury (Melbourne - Victoria State, Australia).

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. Amen.
