There is more joy in giving than in receiving

Udonthani, Thailand and Vientiane, Laos, Christmas 2019 -- Christmas is a season of giving and sharing, especially with the poor and the less privileged.
On 22 December 2019, the representatives of the senior high-school students of Don Bosco Vitthaya School, Udonthani Province, led by Fr. Joseph Pramote Rujikietkamjorn, SDB, brought joy to the 160 occupants of Mother Teresa Children's Home. This center looks after the children affected with HIV and the poor ones taken cared of by the Missionaries of Charity. The students organized some games, shared lunch and gave to the center many other useful materials donated by the other students and the parents of Don Bosco Vitthaya.
On 21 December 2019, Fr. Paul Vu Van Trung, the Salesian Sisters and representatives from the students of Don Bosco Youth Vocational Training Center, Vientiane, Laos, brought Christmas gifts to share with the children and families living around the garbage dumping area of Vientiane.
