LEO ordained Leo!

MANILA: 5th May 2008 -- On the afternoon of 3rd May, heaven poured down its blessings (of rain!) as Choi Sung Kyu Leo was being ordained deacon by the first Filipino Salesian Bishop Leo M. Drona (same name as the deacon!). The liturgy which was held at the Chapel of  Seminaryo ng Don Bosco began at 5 pm. There were some 20 concelebrants, amongst whom: Fr. Danilo Torres, acting FIN provincial, Fr. Stephano Nam - Provincial of Korea. There were also a good number of Caritas Sisters of Miyazaki as well as Korean families who are in the Philippines. The parents of Rev. Leo were also present. The brothers in the theologate animated the liturgy with their music and singing : Rev. Aquiles (from ITM) and Bro Angel (from FIN/PNG-SI) took turns in the organ, Bro Ariel (from FIS) with the guitar, Bro. Gino (from FIS) for the beat box (percussions), Rev. Dedy (from ITM) with the maracas and Bro Tutti (from FIN) with his violin. Bro Thin (from VIE) took charge of arranging the flowers in the sanctuary.

Since yesterday evening, students of theology started moving for their different assignments for the summer apostolate in the different DB presences in FIN. So now, the Seminaryo is almost "empty"...
