Hoa An, Vietnam, 6 May 2018 -- Sunday morning, all the junior aspirants of Don Bosco Hoa An had the celebration of ending school year 2017 – 2018. This day was marked by the family atmosphere.
Present at this celebration were Salesian priests and Salesian brothers, the junior aspirants and their parents. At 8:00 am, the Salesians greeted warmly all the people coming for this day. After that they had a moment of sharing about education. The parents expressed their hope and desire that their sons may become disciples of Christ in religious vocation.
At 8:30 am, Fr. Martin Mai Quyet Thang, SDB presented for all the people about the Salesian vocation. He said, “even though not many know about Salesians and Salesian mission in the North of Viet Nam, however until this day the number of young people have been following the footsteps of Don Bosco in order to serve their fellow young people has been growing.” After that, the Salesian in charge of the aspirants Fr. Jos. Nguyen Tri Dung, SDB shared to the parents about different activities and the process of formation of the aspirants and he also informed to the parents about the result of the school year of 2017 – 2018.
The summit of this day was the thanksgiving Mass with the participation of all the Salesians of the community, all the junior aspirants and their parents. The presider of the holy Mass was Fr. Jos. Nguyen Tri Dung, SDB, he invited everyone to thank God for a very fruitful year and he also encouraged all people to pray that God may continue to accompany and bless all the junior aspirants so that they may be more available and generous in serving others.
After the Eucharistic celebration, they had picture taking and they all shared with each other the joy of family spirit in lunch. Once again, all the parents were so happy and thankful to all the Salesians for helping their sons throughout the year. The day was ended with an optimistic sign about the bright future of the coming years.
