Jerusalem, Israel, 6 May 2017 -- Greetings from the Salesian International Formation House of Ratisbonne, Jerusalem!
We are happy to send you the Easter greetings from the Holy Land, land of Jesus!
Under the guidance of Fr. Andrew Wong, the previous EAO Regional and our Rector of our colorful community composed of 43 Salesians preparing for Priesthood, coming from all continents we are growing day by day - study, prayer, and apostolate.
Every Friday afternoon, I go to Bethlehem "Home of Peace" orphanage for our Oratory experience with other two confreres. You can see the photo that we took after having Way of the Cross in Lent with our fellow Arab children.
There are special times for us as students of theology. Recently I made a book presentation on "The Cost of Discipleship" written by Dietrich Bonhoeffer. There were about 50 audiences both students and professors.
By the grace of God, I am going to make my perpetual profession on 24th May, 2017 at Ratisbonne community, Jerusalem. I'm happy to invite you to attend for my perpetual profession and your presence will be a great blessing for us.
As each one of us, i'm also assigned for my summer apostolate in Italy to Rome, community of Pio XI from June 12 to September 8. It's a grace to be closed to Pope Francis and to the Rector Major.
Here are very few students from the EAO region, only one each from CIN, VIE and ITM. We hope more EAO provincials will send our confreres here to experience the Land of Jesus during their 4 years study of theology.
