3735_Road accident kills two students in Laos

Vientianne, Laos - 20 trainees of Electrical and Automechanic departments from Don Bosco Youth Training Center, Vientiane, Laos, going for industrial training last September 10 met a major accident.
The bus driver swerved to avoid a vehicle from an opposite direction, lost control of their vehicle, hit a tree and turned turtle.
Two students died, four with serious injuries and rest with minor injuries.
Thanks for your sympathies and prayers. One of d 2 trainees who died was buried this afternoon in his village, near our center. Tomorrow I with some staff will travel to the village of theCarlo-Bacalla other deceased trainee, 350 km from our center, for his burial. One trainee in critical condition was brought to Thailand for treatment. According to the Salesian who went with him, the trainee is now out of danger.
The 4 others were discharged today. Only 1 boy remained confined in the hospital in Vientiane.
