Fr Angelo Francesco Fazzini celebrates 50 years of religious profession while Fr. Alfred Maravilla, Fr. Provincial at which he challenged the confreres to a radical and authentic life of joy and commitment. The library room, soon to be filled with Salesian books and inspirational material was blessed. A delicious meal and a variety of items, songs and party games then followed on the Provincial House rooftop.
Earlier in the day, the confreres and aspirants enjoyed each other’s company in lush green surroundings of the resort. Football and volleyball were played by the different teams. Some then settled to dominos, darts and cards, while the more adventurous ones dived and lapped around in the cool waters of the river.
Sincere thanks to Fr Dominic Kachira, vice-provincial and the aspirants of the Savio Haus for the organization and the coordination of the PGS Day. May we be ‘Men on Fire' in our PGS vice-province!
