So far, for animation purposes in our EAO provinces,
1. we have the Strenna 2020 Video in English on YouTube channeland another 42 languages are coming soon!
2. we have the Strenna 2020 Video text in English, Italian on Boscolink
3. we have the Strenna 2020 Commentary text in Italian on Boscolink and other language translations are underway.
We give thanks and pray for all respective EAO language translators!
The 2020 Year Strenna aims to put the education of youth at the centre of attention for the whole Salesian Family:
We believe that we can transform the world through a strong - true education.
We need to reach out to young people where they are with their challenges, and listen to their cry.
We are invited to realize the concrete keywords of Don Bosco - Upright Citizens and Good Christians.
We are happy that the Rector Major brings a special touch to this Strenna also for the many SDB provinces working among a majority of non-Christians!
The Strenna 2020 Video presentation is produced like last year by the Southern Italian province (IME - Naples) and through the whole 15 minutes we listen to the background voice - storytelling - by the Rector Major himself - and get in touch with the youth reality of Southern Italy (Foggia building mural at the centre).
