4684(II)_Hua Hin hosts the annual Thailand Salesian Vocation Camp
Fourty seven edition of the Salesian Vocation Camp in Thailand

Hua Hin, Thailand, 29 March 2018 -- During last week, March 19 - 26, 2018 the THA province Youth Ministry Team under the guidance of Fr Piya Puchchan (Provincial Delegate for the YM) organised the vocational camp at Hua Hin Vithayalai school. Young people from many places were gathered together for the camp. Along the camp Fr Yarat Chaiyara and his catechists team gave talks and activities for the young people.
The Vocation camp in Thailand was organized since 1971 already for 47 times. After the camp there were 9 students who applied for the Aspirantate for the coming school year 2018-2019. The school year in Thailand is starting in May.
In Thailand there are two Aspirantates, one in Hua Hin (Grade 7-9) with 40 boys and the second in Banpong - Nazareth House (Grade 10-12) with 25 boys of secondary high school. Most of the Salesian consecrated vocations in Thailand are coming from these two Aspirantates.
