May Encounter of Mamma Margaret Association

Taean, Korea -- Last May 19-20 was held the regular May encounter of Korean Association of Mamma Margaret, made or the 60 mothers and fathers of our confreres. Since Year of 2000 the parents of Salesian religious (priest or brothers) and their candidates gather twice a year (May and November) for two day encounter of sharing, prayer and mutual encouragement. Each encounter is concluded with the Eucharistic celebration.
This time the encounter was animated by the Provincial delegate for the Salesian Family, Fr. Bonaventura Kim and the spiritual guide of our parents Fr. Park Bosco. This time the Novitiate and Naeri Don Bosco Retreat House was chosen for the beautiful natural environment at the sea shore.
Young Salesians believe that only thanks to the Love of God and their parents it's possible to follow the narrow path of Salesian consecrated vocation. We wish our parents good health and fullness of joy and optimism.
