5660(IV)_The Reception of two new FMA postulants in Myanmar
“The Almighty has done great thing for me. Lk. 1:49”
Anisakan (Myanmar), 30 July 2021 -- On 24 July 2021, on the day of the Commemoration of Mary Help of Christians, two Myanmar young girls, Lucy and Elizabeth were admitted to the postulancy by the local superior, Sr. Juliet Kwye Kwye, FMA in the Chapel of the House of St. Mary Mazzarello, Anisakan. Sr. Jessica Salvana (the provincial of Cambodia-Myanmar) and the other sisters from Cambodia together with the Sisters from different communities in Myanmar joined the Postulant Reception functions online and rejoiced over it.
The “Yes” of the two young girls is a gift and a blessing to all the Salesian Sisters. All the Sisters prayed for each one of them that with grace of God and the intercession of Mama Mary, they may always remain simple, sincere and responsible in their formative journey and may be like a good seed growing as a plant which oneday will bear many fruits for the young in Myanmar. With their openness to God’s Spirit, they may also continue to experience the wonders of God's work in their lives and may respond to Him always with gratitude in their hearts.
