Some Retreat news from the Indonesian part of ITM
JAKARTA: 30 June 2010 -- Now that the Indonesian school year has
come to an end, spiritual rejuvenation and other Salesian refreshing
activities are about to be carried out. Starting this year, due to
factors like the increased number of Salesians and presences in the
Indonesian part of ITM, there will be a retreat for confreres in
initial formation and another one for perpetually professed. In this
way, appropriate themes can be preached for each group. And also,
senior confreres can take turns in joining the retreat in Indonesia,
rather than attend the retreat in far-away East Timor.
The young Salesians are now having this annual
retreat in the Indonesian language with Fr. Joseph Ola SDB - the novice
master - while the senior Salesians will have theirs in English
with Fr. Francis Gustillo, SDB (FIN) in the first week of July.
Two other retreats are planned as usual in East
Timor at the end of their school year this coming December 2010. _________________ AustraLasia is an
