NEW 'FIN' PROVINCIAL ANNOUNCED

MANILA: 25th December -- Fr. Juan Vecchi, Rector Major,
has announced the new Provincial for Philipines North Province. He is
Father Francis Gustilo, already well-known throughout the Australasia region for
his formation work, his contributions to Salesian spirituality and for his work
with the Salesian Bulletin.
Fr. Gustilo is 45 years of age. He was first professed
as a Salesian in 1972 and ordained in 1979. After completing studies in Rome (
doctorate in Salesian spirituality), Fr. Gustilo has taken on a wide range of
duties, but more recently has been head of the Formation Commission for his
Province, and Vice Provincial.
'austraLasia' welcomes Fr. Gustilo to this new task and wishes
him every blessing!
