in case the news which Fr. Provincial
communicated through e-mail has not reached you, I would like to make sure that
you are informed that our beloved confrere Fr. Luigi de Pretto has passed away.
Here is what Fr. Provincial wrote:
>Rev. Fr. Luigi De Pretto passed away last
night, 6 January in Venilale, East Timor. We ask for your prayers for the repose
of his soul in case he still needs our prayers. He is a person loved and
esteemed by all. His
memory and good examples of simplicity, fidelity to
duty, suffering in silence and holy resignation, will surely encourage us all in
our vice-province of East Timor-Indonesia to continue to be faithful to our
vocation.
