5178(II)_Celebrating the Salesian Mission Day in Dili

Dili, Timor Leste, 20 August 2019 -- The Salesian Family in Dili celebrate the Salesian Mission Day for the year of 2019. This celebration is graced with the presence of the Salesian missionary in Thailand, Fr. Aaron Alcoseba, SDB. There are some activities held on this day, namely, the Eucharistic celebration presided over by the Provincial, Fr. Apolinário Maria Ornai Neto, SDB, a short presentation of the speakers and the theme of the Salesian Mission Day, a video presentation and explanation from the Provincial Delegate for the Mission, Fr. Manuel Fraile, SDB to the participants who come from different members of the Salesian Family in Dili. After a break, Fr. Alcoseba shares his life as missionary and the works in Thailand. This sharing of life and works of the Salesian in Thailand is highly appreciated by the participants through asking some questions. These concerns are well responded by Fr. Alcoseba. After that, the participants have lunch and ended the celebration with pictures taking and dahur, a traditional group dance performed by the participants.
