5117_FIN Province welcomes new provincial Superior

Paranaque City, the Philippines, 15 June 2019 -- The Salesians of Don Bosco of the Philippines North Province (FIN) gathered together this morning of June 15, 2019 at the National Shrine of Mary Help of Christians in Paranaque City for the installation of their new Provincial Superior in the person of Fr. Gerardo ‘Gerry’ Martin, SDB. This grace-filled event in the FIN Province happened during the 10:00am celebration of the Holy Eucharist that was presided by Fr. Vaclav Klement, SDB, the Regional Councilor for the East Asia Oceania Region.
The celebration was attended by the different branches of the Salesian Family as well as Fr. Gerry’s family, some relatives and friends. Present also was the Provincial Superior of the Philippines South Province (FIS), Fr. Godofredo Atienza, SDB, together with some confreres of the FIS Province.
After lunch, Fr. Gerry immediate gathered his council for a meeting.
May Fr. Gerry receive all the graces he needs as he begins to be the good shepherd of the Province that has been entrusted to him by God.
