5507(I)_DBGA Network means mutual sharing and inspiration

Mumbai, 12 November 2020 -- Four months after appointment of the EAO Coordinator for DB Green Alliance, we can get more connected among all Salesian Family groups and works who are committed to 'caring for our common home' (Laudato si - Pope Francis, 2015). Almost 50 different Salesian Family groups or Salesian education institutions in most of the 23 EAO countries are now more connected and many others can access the rich variety of environmental action:
And just today we are glad to hear from the Don Bosco Green Alliance Convener, Fr. Savio Silveira (India-Mumbai province superior) on the FIS-SALVO YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w2EPG2fWakY).
Fr. Silveira, SDB, brings us to the very heart of DBGA, a global network where we can accompany our young people towards a sustainable future. Indeed this grassroot movement started two years ago and during the recent SDB 28th General Chapter was embraced by the mainstream of the worldwide Congregation in the 8th Guideline of the SDB Rector Major for the period of 6 years (2020-2026):
"Listening to the worldwide cry of so many young people today, WE SALESIANS COMMIT ourselves to BEING CREDIBLE WITNESSES, personally and as a community, of CONVERSION in caring for Creation and Ecological Spirituality."
