4502(IV)_Canonical visitation in Mongolia

Darkhan, Mongolia, 22 September 2017 -- Fr. Joseph Quang, the provincial of Vietnam made a canonical visitation of Don Bosco community Darkhan, Mongolia from September 19 – 22.
He arrived in Darkhan together with three conferrers from Vietnam on September 19, 2017 in the afternoon and joined for the lunch with the Salesians and lay mission partners. Soon after lunch, he gave opening talk to the Salesians (Fr. Simon (vice-rector), Fr. Jaroslav, Fr. Joseph and Fr. Anthony) in the chapel. He talked about Salesian mysticism, fraternity and about becoming the servants of the young. He emphasized on living together in the community, feeling at home in the community as well as among the young people and working closely with lay collaborators.
After addressing the Salesians he met all the conferrers individually for friendly talk and sharing (rendiconto). He also addressed lay mission partners as well as Salesian Cooperators on September 20, 2017. He concluded his canonical visitation on September 21, 2017. In the concluding conference he presented all his observations and gave recommendations for betterment of the Salesian mission work in Darkhan. He left for Ulaanbaatar on September 22, 2017 in the morning.
