3969_World Gratitude Feast 2016 in Thailand

Sampran, Thailand, April 16, 2016 - On April 14, 2016 the FMA Superior General Mother Yvonne Reungoat, reached Thailand FMA province of St. Mary Mazarello (THA) in order to animate the sisters and celebrate their the annual world - wide Feast of Gratitude.
Upon arrival to Bangkok was welcome by the Provincial Sr. Maria Anna Tovichian and her councilors together with Fr. Charles Velardo, SDB with four young boarders of the Hua Mak hostel (photo).
On the same day the FMA sisters in Sampran invited the Mother to celebrated together the Thai New Year 'Songkran' with especially prepared dances performed by the youth leaders. In her Good Night Talk Sr. Yvonne invited all to continue the festive mood of joy and wishes all FMA in Thailand a new year full of vocational and pastoral fruits.
During next few days Mother Yvonne will visit some meaningful communities in Thailand - Chom Thong (Chiang Mai) where the sisters work for the ethnic groups youth, UdonThani and finally to Sam Phran where on the 26th of April will celebrate the FMA World Feast of Gratitude 2016.
After the Feast of Gratitute the Mother General will continue her pilgrimage with visits to another two communities in Hat Yai (Southern Thailand) and Bangkok, then she will return to Rome on May 4, 2016. Together with the CIAO inter-provincial conference of East Asian FMA provinces we wish and pray for a fruitful time of thansgiving and gratitude.
