4560(I)_Animation visit of Formation Councilor, Sr. Nieves Reboso in Vietnam

HCM City, Vietnam, 18 November 2017 -- From November 2-18, 2017 Sr. Maria Nieves Reboso was present amongst in the 'Mary Help of Christians' FMA province of Vietnam.
During the first period (November 2-7), Sr. Maria Nieves and Sr. Maria Fisichella presented to the Provincial council and the leaders of the communities the Guidelines about the Juniorate period of initial formation.
During the second part (November 8-10) Sr. Maria Nieves with her Assistant met the Provincial Equipe for Formation for a brief presentation of each formation stage. Focus was on the mental prayer (Word of God), listening to God, daily assesment of personal life.
On November 11 was organized a provincial Assembly of all Vietnam FMA sisters, including the celebration of 140th anniversary of the FMA first missionary expedition. The formation councilor through her talk on 'Formation in Consecrated Life - always open journey' invited the Sisters to an authentic formation journey: to be conformed with Christ, living with His same sentiments, attitudes (Phil 2.5) and taking advantage of all life experience for a personal vocation growth.
After the Provincial Assembly of the sisters followed a formation encounter with 80 of 'Junior Sisters', novices and postulants. In a mutual dialogue the young sisters were able to discover the dynamics of own personal vocation growth with joy and responsibility. Sr. Nieves has also visited the formation houses in the North, Central and South of Vietnam, including the houses for College Aspirants.
The animation visit of Sr. Nieves helped the FMA of Vietnam to review and renew the dynamcis of own vocation journey, integrated within the cultural and personal reality of their own country.
