5527(I)_The Philip Rinaldi theologate community of Vietnam province celebrates its Patron

Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam, 08 December 2020 –- On the Feast of Blessed Philip Rinaldi 5 December 2020, the Salesian Theologate of the Vietnam province celebrated its patron and 25th anniversary of foundation.
At 9:45 a.m., in the Church of Don Bosco Xuan Hiep Parish, Fr Provincial Joseph Nguyen Van Quang presided at the mass with the concelebration of priests from different communities in Ho Chi Minh city. Present were families of the first-year students of theology and guests.
On this occasion, five first-year students of theology received their cassocks, five second-year ones received the ministry of lector, and also five third-year ones received the ministry of acolyte.
After the mass everyone continued to share the joy of the feast during lunch in a family spirit with some items from the brothers and guests.
There was a program on the night before in honor of Blessed Philip Rinaldi. Groups of young people accompanied by the Salesians in this community joined this program with well-prepared items to honor Blessed Rinaldi and to express their gratitude to the community.
Through the intercession of Blessed Phlip Rinaldi, may God bless the whole Congregation and every Salesian in order to live and to serve young people in Don Bosco’s spirit.
