FIN Salesian Family Formation on the Eucharist
MAKATI: 2 July 2005 -- From throughout the Philippines
North Province, 270 members of the Salesian Family, one with the
Universal Church celebrating the Year of the Eucharist, gathered for a
morning of formation at the Don Bosco Technical Institute, Makati, to
reflect on "The Eucharist in the Synoptics and Salesian Tradition"
presented by biblical scholar, Fr. Celestino Lingad SDB.
Representatives of the SDB, FMA, Cooperators, DBVs and the ADMA then
gave their reactions to the exposition and shared from the treasury of
their respective group's traditions.
The morning of formation was capped with the family celebration of the
Eucharist presided by SDB FIN Provincial Fr. Andrew Wong and 24 priest
concelebrants.
Members of the Salesian Family present in the Manila Provinc (FIN) are
the SDBs, FMAs, Salesian Cooperators, Damas Salesianas (ADS),
Volunteers of Don Bosco (VDB), Miyasaki Caritas Sisters (CSM),
Archconfraternity of MHC (ADMA), and the Past
Pupils of SDBs and FMAs.
