Valdocco, Turin, Italy, 29 September 2019 -- Dear confreres,

Today they [seven more missionary candidates from Vietnam] have received the missionary cross. On a beautiful day like today, I would like tell the provinceof Vietnam-Mongolia: "Thank you, thank you so much for your generosity - a truetestimony for the whole Congregation!

For this reason today, with the 7 new missionary confreres and Don Bosco ( his relics: see photo) behind me, I ask the Lord to continue to bless you!

And I also say to you: We look forward every year to having many more confreres from Vietnam go out into the whole world.

Let us pray for them and for their mission!
