Quang Nap, Vietnam, 26 December 2017 -- On the occasion of Christmas, Salesians and the parish priest of Quang Nap Parish together with Caristas commission of the parish organized a programe of visiting and giving gifts for elderly people, especially those in need both Catholics and non religion sick persons in the locality.
According to the pastoral guidance of the bishop Joseph Nguyen Nang, and following the Salesian way of doing pastoral, this year the parish has been focusing to the poor, paritcular in those having special situation or in need. This programe of visiting and giving gifts to these poor and sick people made the great impact on the parishioners, and to the people without any religion, this programe also created and strengthend relationship and solidarity between Catholics and the people without religion living in this area.
Also in this Christmas, Quang Nap parish happilly cooperated in doing decoration in the bishop house. And then the work of decorating in the parish also getting done by so many people of the parish and the people living around.
Hoping the joy of Christmas could really touch the hearts of the people living in this mountainous area, not only the Catholics but also touching the hearts of many people are not knowing about Christ yet. Wishing that through this programe of visiting poor people and giving Christmas gifts really a real way of witnessing for Jesus the One to come to give us joy and to set us free.
