Ghana (AFW), December 25, 2015 - Merry Christmas! May the light of the New Born King always shine on you!
How time flies! I have been here in Ghana already more than three months. I am so blessed and thankful for God's protections and guidance upon me. Honestly, I have encountered many beautiful people and things which make me receive and feel abundant graces and His love!
For me, the most beautiful and valuable thing are all the difficulties and challenges that I have experienced in the community and pastoral services in the Child Protection Center. Thanks God for granting me the graces of a positive mindset and optimistic character, I have witnessed that God is really working through me, this useless instrument, and He also manifests His Will to me bit by bit through the Eucharist, prayers, personal reflections and meditation. You see, I am so glad that God is always with me on the journey of my missionary vocation. I am touched and I am blessed.
On the other hand, our children and youngster whom I’m meeting every day, make grow in me a very strong desire to bring Jesus to them. Inside their eyes, I saw sadness, hopeless, loneliness and emptiness, they need Jesus, they need Mamma Mary and they need Don Bosco.
I realize that my mission is to accompany them to close to Him and bring His joy and love to all of them. During the past three months, I observe their daily change little by little. We teach them how to pray, encourage and accompany them to pray before and after of any activities (meals, lessons, games). At the beginning, they are not used to do this, but now they put this in their usual practices and sometimes they remind me to pray. They are really God's Children. In this missionary vocation journey, God is always showing His Mercy to embrace me , and through some unexpected surprises by God , I am blessed to witness His great works among them.
Please, continue to pray for my vocation! Once again, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Best wishes from Ghana!
In Christ,
