3714(I)_Korea SYM Pilgrimage for the Don Bosco SYM 2015
August 20, 2015By Fr. Samuel Yu, SDB
For the pilgrimage of 200th Birthday of Don Bosco arrived to Italy a group of 32 young adults from South South Korea guided by Fr. Paul Na and Fr. Paul Kang. Latter was the main organized and formator during a longer period of preparation before departure from Seoul.
The Bosconian two weeks long pilgrimage (Aug 4-18) started in Rome, continue through the Italian cities of Assisi and Firenze up to the climax of Salesian Youth Day 2015 of the 200th Birthday of Don Bosco in Turin.
For all the participants to follow the footsteps Don Bosco was a very happy experience like reading a wonderful novel. The amazing experience was really very strong, not all participants wanted to wait until the end of the novel book.
As the emotional variety of the novel, also this Bosconian pilgrimage was not only enthusiastic and enjoyable experience, but during these two weeks there was created a strong friendship among all youngsters. Most of the youth acknowledge this pilgrimage was a grace and strong God’s experience for them.
I believe that thanks to this pilgrimage also the Salesian Youth Movement in Korea will grow as the dream and hope of Don Bosco that started two hundreds year ago and grows until now.
