HUA HIN: 21 August 2011 -- The Thai Province Youth
Ministry Commission led by Fr Boonlert Paneetatthayasia sdb,
provincial delegate for youth ministry, offered a mini
vocation camp for Catholic students at Salesian Primary
Schools (Grade 6) from 19-21 August, 2011 at the Salesian
Retreat House, Hua-Hin, Prachaubkhirikhan.
The theme for the camp was “Becoming Don
Bosco”. The Salesians tried to hep the boys to understand
themselves well and know more of the life of Saint John
Bosco as a way to understand and respond to God's love and
his will for each one.
The boys had the chance to join in with
the Aspirants at Hua Hin. They were able to play and join
together and share the happiness of the Salesian style.
There were 28 boys who joined the camp,
which was oganised by Fr. Broonlet ad Bro. Chitti Uppakarn
with help from 2 Brothers from Salesianum Sampran along with
some Aspirants and teachers who helped out with the camp.
Fr Paul Prasert Somngam, the
Provincial, came to preside at the Mass for the boys.
Special thank ar due to Fr John Bosco Theparat Pitisant,
Rector of the Hua-Hin Community, and to the confreres of
this community for their generosity. _________________
