4045_Salesian Youth Ministry in the School - one step forward

Bangkok, Thailand, 22 June 2016 -- The Youth Pastoral Commission of the THA Province organized a seminar on the theme of “Youth pastoral in school.” There were about 25 participants of this seminar: Salesians, Salesian Sisters, Sisters SIHM, and teachers who are in charge of the youth pastoral in Salesian Family Schools.

On June 21, we begin our Seminar with the welcoming speech by Fr Paul Prasert Somngam, the SDB provincial. Then we reviewed on the ‘Framework of the Salesian Youth Ministry’ animated by Fr Joseph Noppadon. In the afternoon there was a workshop and sharing about the community pastoral plan.

On June 22, Fr Jaran Thongpiyapoom led a seminar on the theme “Bring Gospel’s values into practice to our students in school.”

Participants in a seminar were very satisfied and pleased with the quality of the seminar and hope that they can bring the fruit into daily practice in their local community and school.
