Don Bosco Technological College - Bangkok prepare for "Mechatronics"

Bangkok, Thailand, 15 July 2020 -- On 13 July 2020, Mr. Anucha Burapachaisri, the Secretary to the Deputy Minister of Education, officials from the education department and 30 staff of various sectors in the education department, joined the presentation of Mechatronics, a bilateral curriculum of 5 years - German standard, at Don Bosco Technological College - Bangkok. An official from the German Chamber of Commerce represented the Education Department and Research of Germany. He presented the details of the curriculum in English to the participants present.
After the presentation, Fr. Joseph Manachai Tharachai, Rector, and Fr. Monthon Rojanasuthatkul, school director, led the whole party to visit all the shops, including the Mechatronics laboratory - the new curriculum. Don Bosco - Bangkok feels happy to be possibly the first technological college in Thailand to use this curriculum. The first 45 students of the 'certificate level' will be enrolled for school year 2021.
Mechatronics is an applied interdisciplinary curriculum which brings the basic course of mechanics, electronics, automation, computer and information technology together to design and build parts and products.
This curriculum will help underprivileged Thai youth to enter the developing work force and help them to live a dignified life in Thai society.
