The Feast of Saint Francis De Sales

Parañaque City, the Philippines, 24 January 2019 -- Salesians and members of the Salesian Family from the Parañaque District—Metro Manila, Philippines gathered together to celebrate the Feast of Saint Francis De Sales. The celebration began with the praying of the holy rosary in the National Shrine of Mary Help of Christians. The image of Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage was also being brought for pilgrimage and it was timely that the image was present during the celebration.

The mass was celebrated by F. Rey Dela Cruz SDB – Rector of Don Bosco Center of Studies. Together with him were other Salesian priests to make the celebration more vibrant. The mass was attended by the students of theology, Salesian Brothers and various members of the Salesian Family.

After the mass, the Salesian family had dinner together in the parish gymnasium. A program was prepared to make the celebration more festive. Everyone had their share of laughter and stories for the night’s celebration.
