SALESIAN GENERALATE; CONDITION OF RECTOR MAJOR

3rd communication

Wednesday, July 5th 2000, midnight.

At the end of a quiet day, the Rector Major was brought to the operationtheatre at 7,10 PM. Together with the confreres present he ited a Hail Mary, very lucid and devout, and gave the blessing to those present.At the end he added: "I am in God's hand, may His will be done".The operation finished at 10.40 PM.

The doctors expressed their satisfaction about the surgical intervention. They took away the substance pressing upon the brain. They need however still a few days to clarify the nature of what they eliminated. Let us continue to pray and to hope.
