First Filipina FMA's 'get Gold', others Ruby, still others Silver

MANILA: 8th August 2008 -- The first Filipina FMAs to celebrate their Golden Jubilee ,on 5th August, were Srs Maria Luisa Lumibao and Gloria Vicencio.  The jubilees were celebrated at a Mass at Don Bosco School at which the new SDB Provincial, Fr Eli Cruz, presided along with some 21 Salesian concelebrants.
    The 'Golds' were joined by Ruby Jubilarians Srs Florita Dimayuga and Marilu Villanueva, and a further six Silver Jubilarians, Srs. Ida Bermudez, Florencia Soberano (missionary in Cambodia), Maria Elena Estacio (likewise a missionary in Cambodia), Evelina Saludares (missionary in Zambia), Elizabeth Villanueva (missionary in USA) and Corazon Jaca (missionary in Ethiopia).  The latter was unable to be present for the celebration.
    Approximately 600 guests graced the event.
