The Rector Major visits to Salesian Family in Viet Nam (1)

Xuân Hiệp, Vietnam, 20 February 2017 -- At 14:10 on Monday, the Rector Major A. F. Artime together with his secretary Fr. Horacio already arrived at Tan Son Nhat international airport, Viet Nam in the enthusiastic welcome of the Salesian Family Viet Nam after a long trip coming from the Doha Qatar international airport.
Present at the airport to welcome the Rector Major is the Provincial of Viet Nam Fr. Jos Nguyen Van Quang and his councilors, also the Provincial of the FMA of Viet Nam Sr. Rosa Vu Thi Kim Lien and her councilors, then Rectors, Heads of Salesian Presences, Salesians, representatives of Cooperators, Pastpupils, aspirants and also many members of the SYM. The young people held different posters to welcome the Rector Major and all together sang the song of “Don Bosco Retona”.
After greeting all the members of the Salesian Family in Viet Nam, the Rector Major took pictures with different groups of the Salesian Family, and after that the Rector Major together with Salesian Family departed to go to the Provincial House in Xuan Hiep, Thu Duc District. When the Rector Major arrived at Provincial House many different members of the Salesian Family in Viet Nam formed in lines along the way to welcome the Rector Major.
And then, at the corridor of the Rinaldi Theologate, Fr. Provincial represented for the whole Salesian Family in Viet Nam officially welcomed the Rector Major. The Recor Major felt happy when there were many young people seating around him and he thanked all the people present there for warm welcome and with full family spirit.
This is the first time the Rector Major Fr. A. F. Artime comes to Viet Nam in his term of 6 years as Rector Major.
