austraLasia #2792 MYM seminar for Salesians in Practical Training ANISAKHAN (MYM): 28 January 2011 -- A group of
Salesians in practical training have had a short seminar to
update their Salesian assistance practices. The seminar was
held from 2-4 January, 2011 at the Don
Bosco Spiritual Renewal Centre, Anisakhan.
There was a good ratio of Salesian brothers and the clerics,
3:6 respectively, altogether nine, from five different
communities in the Vice Province. The formation delegate,
Fr. Edward Sein Myint, was the animator. The seminar began
with the Solemn Mass of the Epiphany of the Lord in the
evening at 5 p.m. The sections were led by Frs Joachim Ye
Maung, Francis Dass and Edward Sein Myint, and dealt with
the dream of the Ten Diamonds, The Preventive System
and more specifically 'reason', Salesian Spirituality.
The practical trainees were happy with the event and shared
their own experiences as a Salesian assistant. The occasion
concluded with a short excursion to the Museum Park of the
National Village, on the afternoon of 4th January. _________
