4716(III)_Applied technologies competition at Don Bosco Tan Tien Vocational School

Tan Ha, Vietnam, 3 May 2018 -- On the morning of May 1, 2018, the applied technologies competition took place at Don Bosco Tan Tien Vocational School. This annual event aims at creating a cheerful activity among the students, fostering initiatives and promoting the advancement of applied technologies.
At 8:30am on May 1, 2008, Fr. Anthony Nguyen Anh Tuan, Rector, declared the opening of the competition. Then, Fr. Joseph Nguyen Xuan Quang, Dean of Studies, on behalf of the judges, read the rules of the competition.
In fact, the competition had been announced from the beginning of April and it had attracted many students who take up different courses in the school. After one month of preparation and hard work, the students presented 20 items for the contest. Although these items were made from rudimentary material, the students showed their talents and creativity. Moreover, they were able to make highly applied items.
The students took turn coming forward for their presentations. And they received warm cheering from their teammates and spectators.
At 11am, Salesian Brother Martin Bui Van Luan, Vice-principal, announced the winners of the competition. He highly appreciated their enthusiasm and participation. He also gave the students words of encouragement and challenged them to excel at their academic performance.
