4518(II)_New school year for the aspirants of Xuan Hiep community

Xuan Hiep, Vietnam, 8 October 2017 -- At 8:00 AM on Sunday Oct. 8th, Xuan Hiep community opened a new school year 2017-2018 for their aspirants.

Present at the openning ceremony were the Vice Rector of the community, Fr. Joachim Dinh Van Phuong, the in-charge confreres, and more than 80 junior (highschool students) and 100 senior (university students) aspirants. Fr Joachim Nguyen Thanh Tung, the in-charge confrere of the aspirants, introduced all other confreres who would accompany with the aspirants this year.

After the openning ceremony, the aspirants had a good time for recollection, confession and then the Mass. In the homily of the monthly recollection, Fr. Joachim talked to the aspirants about the vocation by sharing his own experiences. He encouraged them to use up their energies to surpass the trials in life inspite of their limitations. In the homily of Holy Mass, Fr. Joachim Nguyen Thanh Tung compare the aspirants with the grapevines in God’s vineyard. They had to bear fruits with the accompaniment of Salesians. So they should open their minds, their hearts before God.

In the afternoon, the aspirants had a good time for some activities: watching the film, sports, and the “goodnight talk” before leaving.
