3926(I)_EAO Provincial Economers Meeting in Myanmar - Resolutions

Anisacan, Myanmar, March 1 – 3, 2016 - All 24 participants of the 2016 Myanmar - Anisakan (Don Bosco Retreat House) EAO economers meeting are already leaving back home with many happy memories and enriched by many good practices.

We are happy to share their commitment, that is affecting all 1500 Salesians and novices in our Region. Indeed 'Give me the souls and Take away all the rest' of Don Bosco is lived also through our faithful poverty commitment at personal, community and provincial level.

After the meeting of the 2016 EAO Provincial and Delegation Economers Meeting in Myanmar, in the next year to come, we commit ourselves to be faithful to the following Resolutions:

A) PERSONAL & COMMUNITY LEVEL

1. Create a planning mentality among ourselves
2. Maximize our properties to create more profit and reduce costs.

B) PROVINCE LEVEL

1. Have more involvement of lay mission partners (collaborators) and experts in our work and professionalize our accounting staff.
2. Develop and implement budgeting in the province driven by the vision and strategic plan, then monitor its progress.

C) REGIONAL LEVEL

1. Set up a system of coordination, solidarity, and collaboration among 11 EAO provinces and 5 Delegations.
2. Establish, develop, and stabilize the PDO (Planning and Development Office) and Mission Office of our provinces and share resources / programs to support each other.
