INTRODUCING THE SDB West
e-zine

Dear Confreres,
Greetings from the SDB West team. Aaj
chi tazza khabar! Aichi ununit khobor!! We are happy to inform you
that the Social Communications Commission has planned SDB West, the newsletter
of our province in two forms. First, the Newsletter as a web page will be
sent to all the houses on the house e-mail address every month. This
will contain news only
thus providing you with news fresh and crisp. It will be published
from Tej-Prasarini and Fr. Jose Sequeira will be the editor along with the Don
Bosco Information Service (DBIS) team.
The second form is a printed
booklet which will provide opinions, views and comments
exclusively. It will be published from Don Bosco Youth Centre,
Koregaon Park and Fr. Cletus D'Souza will be it's editor along with a team of
brothers studying theology.
I request you to kindly print the
SDB West e-zine and put it on your notice board.
Your articles, feedback, opinions, views and comments on
the topics coming forth or on any issues you consider important are our
valueble treasure.

TEJ-PRASARINI RELEASES MULTIMEDIA CD,
MARY

Tej-Prasarini, Don Bosco Communications released
an interactive multimedia CD named Mary on the Feast of Mary Help of
Christians at the hands of Rev. Fr. Joseph Casti, Rector, Shrine of Don Bosco's
Madonna amids a crowd of 2000 people on the Don Bosco Provincial House
grounds. The idea of such a CD was conceived by Fr. Edwin Colaco and the
Liturgical animations and Marian Presentation were scripted by him. The CD
contains Music videos, flash presentations, liturgical animations and 100
photos of our lady. Priced at Rs. 125/- it is available at Trj-Prasarini
Bookshop and is a useful kit for learning, refrence, liturgical animation
or just to draw inspiration from.

Don Bosco's Madonna,
the monthly magazine that began as a humble leaflet in 1937 is known
to be the largest circulating Catholic Periodical in India and more, it is now
online. His Eminence Cardinal Ivan Dias of the Archdiocese of Bombay launched
the Don Bosco's Madonna website by a click on the mouse in the presence
of the Salesian Provincial Fr. Ivo Coelho, Vice Provincial Fr. Adolph Furtado
and the magazine and website editor, Fr. Ian Doulton at the shrine office
