seminar on Vatican II as part of Year of Faith

Following Pastoral Guidelines, a seminar on the teachings of
Vatican
Council 2 should be organized at Diocesan Level and levels.
On 3 November, 2012, the Theological Institute of Blessed
Philip
Rinaldi in Xuan Hiep, Viet Nam, organized a Seminar on the
Year of
Faith with the participation of more than 500 students and
religious.
Bishop Anthony, of Dalat Diocese, shared his thoughts on
Vatican
Council II as a New Pentecost. He stressed the renewal of mind
and way
of living as Christians.
Mgr Joseph Dao, the Rector of the Major Seminary in Xuan Loc
Diocese
(Former member of the Congregation for the Evangelization of
Peoples),
talked about the Missions, in which he proposed a new way of
evangelization in Viet Nam : each religious congregation
should pay
more attention to the new challenges and should find new ways
of
evangelization to respond to new social situations in Viet
Nam. There
were many questions for him. The aim of his address and his
responses
was to re-enkindle the fire of evangelization.
