Salesian quality rewarded in Mongolia, as Fr Carlo receives 'medal of honour'

ULAANBAATAR: 4th February 2009 -- The City of Ulaanbaatar, on 2nd February 2009, has acknowledged the quality of the Salesian educational presence in the city by awarding its leader, Fr Carlo Maria Villegas, with its 'medal of honour'. The medal and accompanying plaque was offered by the Mayor of Ulaanbaatar and brings distinguished honour not only to Salesian education through its professional school, but also the significant presence of the Catholic Church and her missionaries within a few short years.
    Officials reminded Don Bosco Industrial Training Skills Centre of its need to continue to be a model school for the advancement of skills and knowledge for the youth of Mongolia.
