Pope Francis November Prayer Intentions for Christians in Asia
November 2, 2017
Vatican, 2 November 2017 -- “Let us pray that Christians in Asia, bearing witness to the Gospel in word and deed, may promote dialogue, peace, and mutual understanding, especially with those of other religions.” - this is the invitation of Pope Francis in the video presentation of his intention of prayer for the month of November 2017, published by the Pope’s World Network of Prayer.
“The video of the pope,” directed by Fr. Frédéric Fornos, SJ, and to be released in the coming days, is made available in 10 languages across all social media: YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram. On January 8, the Pope sent an invitation to join his World Prayer Network: “I would like to invite you to join the Pope’s Global Prayer Network, which also disseminates my prayer intentions through social networks every month to the whole Church,” he said. This is how the apostolate of prayer is promoted and communion is made to grow. ” To watch all released ‘Pope Videos’: https://thepopevideo.org/en.html.
Also the Salesian Missionary Prayer intention for November 2017 does mirror the intention of Pope Francis and the Cagliero11 (November issue) brings an inspiring story of Akash Bashir (Pakistan Don Bosco Alumnus, Martyr) in order to prepare well our 11th November - anniversary of the first Salesian missionary expedition.
