By Ms. Maria Junifer Maliglig, ADMA
Makati City, the Philippines, 1 April 2017 -- ADMA members from different chapters gathered to attend the ADMA Conference given by Fr. Pierluigi Cameroni, SDB. Fr. Cameroni is the Spiritual Animator of ADMA worldwide. Also as Postulator, he visited the Philippines again to follow-up the process of the cause for beatification of Servant of God Fr. Carlo Braga, SDB.
The conference last April 1, 2017 was held at the Roozen Hall of St. John Bosco Parish, Makati City. After the opening prayer, Ms. Maria Junifer Maliglig, ADMA President, introduced the members present from the following chapters: Auxilium and San Isidro Labrador from Paranaque; St. Mary Mazzarello from Manila; Mary Help of Christians Parish and St. John Bosco Parish & Center for Young Workers both from Laguna; San Juan Nepomuceno from Pasay City; and San Ildefonso Parish from Makati City. Also present were Fr. Remo Bati, SDB and Fr. Antonio Molavin, SDB as both are spiritual animators of ADMA chapters.
They also shared their time in translating the message of Fr. Cameroni. After the brief introduction, Fr. Cameroni gave his talk reminding the members of their commitment in spreading the devotion to Mary Help of Christians. He also reiterated the importance of the family and the role of ADMA members in bringing Mama Mary’s house to the homes of families. The members were also encouraged to spread the prayer for the beatification of Fr. Braga in conjunction with spreading devotion to Mary Help of Christians. Fr. Cameroni shared that members in Turin, Italy hold regular meetings, short recollections and a week of retreat every year in the mountains with their families who are all ADMA members. These regular activities have significantly strengthened the family ties both physically and spiritually. Fr. Cameroni also reminded the members to use the ADMA website as an instrument of communion and communication wherein the formation guidelines, spiritual readings, updates and news of ADMA worldwide are available, e.g., ADMA on Line and MHC Notebooks.
Part of the conference was the handing over of the Diploma of Aggregation to the members of St. John Bosco Parish and Center for Young Workers as a newly recognized ADMA chapter. The diploma was signed by the Rector of the Basilica of Mary Help of Christians in Turin, Italy, the President, and the Spiritual Animator of ADMA Primary.
For some entertainment, the energetic youth from the chapter of San Ildefonso Parish rendered a dance presentation wherein Fr. Cameroni and Fr. Molavin also joyfully joined them. On behalf of ADMA FIN, the national council presented a small token of appreciation and some Filipino souvenirs for Fr. Cameroni.
It was a short conference but a very meaningful encounter for all ADMA members. We pray that our good Lord continue to guide Fr. Cameroni in his work of animation for ADMA and as postulator. May St. John Bosco and our Mother, Mary Help of Christians, protect, strengthen, and guide all ADMA members in continuing the mission to spread love and devotion to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament and to Mary, our path towards holiness.
