5484(IV)_Discernment for Candidates for New Provincial of the Vietnam Province

Xuan Hiep Theologate Community, Vietnam, 12 October 2020 -- At 8 o'clock in the big conference room of the Salesian Theologate in Ho Chi Minh city, Fr. Joseph Nguyen Thinh Phuoc SDB, EAO regional councillor guided the process of the meeting for discernment regarding the current situation of the province and for proposing some candidates for new provincial position in the next term.
This meeting was for all communities in Ho Chi Minh city and in some nearby provinces. There were about 120 confreres who attended the meeting. The attendants were divided into 8 groups for discussion according to the batches of first profession.
Fr. Jpseph Phuoc will continue to guide the process of discernment and the proposals from the North delegation on 13 October, and of the communities in Da Lat city and in Lam Dong province on 17 October.
We ask you for your prayers for our province so that the guidance of the Holy Spirit will be felt in everything, and that God’s will be done in our province as we elect the new provincial for the next term.
