Seoul, Korea, 25 February 2018 -- Korea Salesian Cooperators had their Lent Retreat in Seoul. All about 170 members of 16 Local Centers including SalesiTh(Youth Salesian Cooperators) had their time to reflection on themselves and their daily lives.
With the ceremony pouring a bowl of water into a jar, they began their Retreat. This year Retreat theme was “Lord, give me this water”. After pouring some water, each participant picked up a small card in which biblical word, given from God, was written.
Fr. Raphael Lee in charge of missionary work gave Cooperators good words. He stressed the original value of human being created by God. “ Nothing is needed, knowledge and money can not make him better, human being itself is a complete one. And when we meet Jesus, we are changed and through him we can do great things for others specially for the poor young people, like a big battle ship can be floated on water by way of buoyancy” he lectured.
In the afternoon, Cooperators did Station of the Cross and did think of the meaning of the word God gave them, written in the cards they picked up in the early ceremony. And they were sended into the young and their neighbors with the life giving water after Mass.
