3762(II)_the 50th anniversary of the death of Venerable Vincenzo Cimatti

Tokyo, Japan - Today 6th of October 2015 we celebrated in Japan the Eucharist for the 50th anniversary of the death of Venerable Vincenzo Cimatti (1883-1965) in the chapel of the Salesian Seminary in Chofu on this memorable day.
From his native place of Faenza-Modigliana (Italy, Emilia - Romagna province) came for this celebration Mons. Mario Toso, SDB (Bishop of Faenza-Modigliana) and his predecessor Mons. Claudio Stani (Bishop emeritus) with other 11 pilgrims. More than 250 faithful and religious and 18 priest concelebrated with Mons. Toso.
In his homily Bishop Mario underlined: 'We give thanks to God, above all for the opportunity to participate in this celebration of 50th anniversary of departure of Mons. Cimatti to Heaven and we pray that good Lord will send many more workers to His Vineyard.
And as Fr. Cimatti we follow the spirit of communion with the Catholic Church and are working tirelessly to raise up in our Church communities many vocations to the priesthood, to religious life and to the committed lay people who would realize their mission in the world.'
