5368(II)_EAO Region Photo Archives are online
May 05, 2020
EAO, 5 May 2020 -- As one of the EAO social communication delegates dreams, the EAO Photo Archives are now online, visible on BOSCOLINK (www.bosco.link) under the 'EAO Photo icon among the links at the bottom of the home page. Like the Salesian worldwide 'ANS Flickr' launched in January 2015, the EAO Photo archives aim to make available (possibly) high resolution quality photos from the beginning of the EAO Region in 2002.
Thanks to the VIE provincial office of Social Communication (Delegate Fr. Peter Chinh) and the Boscolink administrator (Br. John Phuoc), during the past few months, the main structure of the 'EAO Photo Archives' has emerged with the following folders:
12 Folders for each EAO province; 5 folders for each EAO delegation; 15 folders for each Salesian Family group present in the EAO region and finally folders for the EAO Regional events (Team Visit, Provincial and Delegation meetings, Congresses) with a specific space for the EAO Salesian Bishops and EAO Saints. Each folder can be made up of any number of specific 'Galleries'.
The EAO Photo Archive is open to any visitor, there is no need for any password. You can freely download the available photos and if you are interested in uploading the photos of your Province, Delegation, Sector or Salesian Family group, get in touch with the administrator at eao@bosco.link.
We are happy that just two months time after GC28 that was described as "the most digital of all the General Chapters", we are offering you this opportunitiy for sharing photos, taking into account the potential of digital technology.
For any query you can reach the Boscolink and EAO Photo Archives administrator (eao@bosco.link).
