The life of an ex-provincial
MAKATI (Manila): 8th September 2006 -- Fr Francis
Gustilo has now spent three full months back at Makati, after a year's
service to the international theologate at Ratisbonne, Jerusalem.
Somewhat the entrepreneur, Fr Gustilo has been asked by the current
Provincial, Fr Andrew Wong, to tackle the flourishing business side of
the extensive Salesian presence in Makati, a presence which includes a
large and well-equipped printing establishment known as Don Bosco
Press, Salesiana Publishers, Word and Life, a catechetical magazine
much appreciated in families and schools in the Philippines, and a
pizzeria which has established a reputation to be reckoned with in Asia
as an Italian restaurant - 'Amici di Don Bosco'. Amici di Don Bosco has recently featured -
along with Fr Gustilo - in a website which highlights outstanding
places of interest around Metro Manila. The website offers a
'clipcast' of the restaurant with live comments from Giorgio, chief
chef and the irrepressible Fr Gustilo. Learn something of the
uniqueness of this Italian restaurant and the mouth-watering version of
