1642 Official presents certificates to Phnom Penh graduates

Cambodia: Deputy Secretary of State of Ministry of Labour
and Vocational Training presents certificates to DB Graduates
PHNOM PENH: 4th September 2006 -- The Deputy Secretary of
State of the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training, His Excellency
Var Sim Samreth, has handed certificates of successful TVET skills
training to 215 Bosconians who graduated from their two year course at
the Don Bosco Technical School, Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Thirty of
the graduates were female students in Printing and Computer
Technologies. The ceremony took place on Saturday 2nd September,
2006. However, two months prior to receiving their certificates,
the graduates had already found employment in various companies and
industries in Cambodia. They returned to receive their
certification in different skills training in Automotive Mechanics,
Welding, Electricity, Electronics and Printing.
His Excellency showered words of praise and
thanksgiving on Don Bosco's continued support for education and
technical education in Cambodia. Don Bosco Technical School is
Cambodia's leader in the TVET system in the technical education field.
